Exclusive: Dark/Web Begins Shooting Episode Written By Lrm Reader (Images)

27 January 2017 2:43 PM, PST | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Lrm has exclusively learned that as of Wednesday, January 26, the production on the Dark/Web anthology episode “Hacked” has officially begun! Those of you following the progress of the upcoming digital series Dark/Web may recognize the episode title, which was written by one of our readers, Christopher Webster, whose script won over the producers of Dark/Web, and made its way into the actual show.

Dark/Web is a unique hybrid of serialized and anthological storytelling. It contains and overarching narrative, but within each of the episodes is a separate, standalone anthology that somehow plays into the main plot of the story. Webster’s own script will be one of those standalone pieces. Each episode of Dark/Web explores themes related to the internet and the dangers present in the murky, unexplained layers of the web. Paranoia, isolation, vanity, loss of identity, the viral nature of ideas and social »

Casting: Marvel's Ghost Rider Will Ride Onto Lrm's Exclusive Dark/Web Series!

9 January 2017 8:42 AM, PST | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Things just got more real with Dark/Web. The Lrm Exclusive digital series just locked down Ghost Rider himself, Gabriel Luna, to partake in “Zero." Luna definitely made his presence felt on the most reason season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and was also the star of El Rey's Matador. His Dark/Web episode, "Zero," is one of the anthology portions of the show.

For those confused by what we mean by “anthology portion,” it’s probably best to recap the unique format that Dark/Web utilizes.

Dark/Web's structure combines the classic, standalone stories traditionally found in an anthology series with an overarching, season-long mystery. Each episode consists of two parts:

A portion of the serialized tale that continues week after week.  A stand-alone horror/sci-fi short, presented in the form of stories that Molly left behind; each written and directed by a different filmmaker.

As mentioned above, Luna will star in “Zero, »

‘Dark/Web’ Series Adds Zelda Williams, Gabriel Luna, Hannah Marks

6 January 2017 3:26 PM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

Zelda Williams, Gabriel Luna, Hannah Marks, Cassi Thomson, Molly Hagan and Graham Sibley have boarded forthcoming anthology thriller “Dark/Web,” Variety has learned exclusively.

Luna appears in an episode directed by Williams from her own script, a genre mashup inspired by her  fascination with video games. Williams’ producing partner Josh Thurston produced the episode, titled  “Zero.”

Hagan and Sibley star in “Rideshare,” an episode written and directed by Boman Modine that highlights the silent dangers of our uber-obsessed culture. The segment is described as a “post-modern serial killer origin story that will make you think twice before stepping into your next Uber/Lyft pickup.”

The new cast additions join Nicholas Brendan, Clare Kramer, Brandon Scott, Michael Nardelli and Siobhan Fallon Hogan who appear in other episodes.

“Dark/Web” was created by Michael and Tim Nardelli through their Felt Films company along with Mario Miscione, who teamed on the horror movie “Circle.” The »
