Robin Williams's widow, Susan Williams, opened up about her loss in her first interview since the actor's tragic death. The couple was together for seven years and married for three. In her interview with ABC News, she shared how strong her feelings were for him, saying, "It's the best love I ever dreamed of." Susan also talked about Robin's death and the coroner's report, which said that he had Lewy body dementia. "No one could have done anything more for Robin," she said, adding, "This disease is like a sea monster with 50 tentacles of symptoms that show when they want. It's chemical warfare in the brain. And we can't find it until someone dies definitively. There is no cure." Susan got emotional as she remembered her final conversation with Robin, explaining that she was getting into bed and he came into the room. "He said, 'Goodnight, my love,'...

"It was not depression that killed Robin," Susan Williams told People in her first interview since his death. "Depression was one of let's call it 50 symptoms and it was a small one." The autopsy report revealed that Robin Williams was suffering from Diffuse Lewy Body Dementia, a neurodegenerative disease — the second most common after Alzheimer's — that is frequently misdiagnosed for its "whack-a-mole" symptoms. Up until the months leading up to his death, his symptoms worsened significantly, and Williams was experiencing crippling anxiety attacks and muscle rigidity. It can cause hallucinations and impair memory and motor functions.Initially, Williams's publicist stated that the actor had been suffering from depression. Susan had released a brief statement, but had refused interviews in an effort to understand what happened. "I know now the doctors, the whole team was doing exactly the right things. It's just that this disease was faster than us...

At the time, the couple didn’t know of his early Parkinson’s and Lewy body dementia. “If Robin was lucky, he would’ve had maybe three years left. And they would’ve been hard years. Manchester is to become a Marvel superhero battleground.

BBC News now confirms that Manchester's Northern Quarter is to be transformed into 1940s New York for the blockbuster production.
It will be the scene for a dramatic car chase in what is Marvel Studios' first shoot outside the USA.
Susan Williams, drama liaison manager for Salford Quays firm Vision+Media which organised the location, said: "The area was a convincing Victorian London in Sherlock Holmes last year and more recently it became 1980s Soho for the BBC's Worried About The Boy drama.
"We suggested the area to Marvel as its wide streets, towering buildings and pre-war architecture will make the perfect 1940s New York."
