This Father of the Bride Reunion Will Make You Feel Like a Kid Again

20 March 2017 12:30 PM, PDT | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

If you quote Father of the Bride on the regular, you'll appreciate this. Frequent costars/real-life buddies Steve Martin and Martin Short have been touring with a comedy show, and they had a very special visitor in attendance in Nashville: Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The actress memorably appeared in both Father of the Bride and its sequel as Annie Banks, daughter to George (Martin). Short played Franck (whose name I can't even think of without yelling it in my head), the wedding planner. Seeing them all together fills me with more joy than a nuffy blue Armani tuxedo. Martin -- who portrayed Williams-Paisley's dad, George Banks, in the Father of the Bride films -- is currently on a comedy tour with Short -- who played the hilarious wedding planner, Franck Eggelhoffer, in the beloved 1991 and 1995 movies.

In an exclusive interview with Et last year, Martin addressed rumors that there will be a third Father of the Bride film. "I don't think that's gonna happen," he admitted. "I'd have to play a grandfather -- do I want to do that? Yeah, of course I do, but I think we've seen enough."
