The Brady Kids: Animated Series Finally Coming to DVD

A complete set of The Brady Kids animated TV show is finally being released on DVD. The Brady Kids is an animated spin-off of The Brady Bunch. The cartoon ran for 22 episodes over the course of two seasons, before being cancelled in 1973. Talk about a long wait! The ever-useful website, TV Shows on DVD reports the three-disk set will be available February 16, 2016.

The Brady Kids was part of ABC's Saturday morning cartoon block. In the first season of The Brady Kids, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland, Maureen McCormick, Susan Olsen, Eve Plumb, and Barry Williams all voiced the roles they played on the live-action series. Williams, Knight, and McCormick left The Brady Kids at the end of season one, and the Greg, Peter, and Marcia voice-roles were recast. In 2005, fans of Joss Whedon’s shiny space western “Firefly” had spent a couple years deploring the show’s cancelation on Fox, and the sci-fi series had only just begun to garner its cult following thanks to the power of the DVD. 'Brady Bunch' Star's Ex Says He's Been an Absentee Dad

Barry Williams (famous for playing Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch) is embroiled in a scandal involving his ex and their three-year-old child.

Elizabeth Kennedy says that she was Barry's girlfriend for seven years and that Williams has left her and their daughter destitute, but Williams denies the claims.

"It's a funny thing how you get built up and people want to take you down and that kind of thing," Williams told The Huffington Post. "It's not about custody. It's about child support."

Kennedy told Et's Brooke Anderson her side of the story.
