Guy Wilkerson was born on December 21, 1899 in Whitewright, Texas, USA. He was an actor, known for The Haunted Palace (1963), Gangsters of the Frontier (1944) and Dead or Alive (1944). He died on July 15, 1971 in Hollywood, California, USA.

A rough count of his movies reveals that 66 are westerns, approximately half of the 128 films he made. Also, he portrayed the character "Panhandle Perkins" in 22 PRC westerns from 1942 to 1945. He used the character name "Panhandle" in one other western, a Universal serial called The Scarlet Horseman (1946).
Lanky, balding character actor, former vaudevillian and burlesque artist, whose dour demeanour lent itself ideally to playing undertakers, hangmen, jurors and stern men of the cloth - when not employed as western sidekicks at PRC or Republic.
