After five years on Burn Notice, burned spy Michael Weston is poised to reclaim his former life in the CIA. There’s just one little problem… the man responsible for burning him in the first place is forcing Michael to do his evil bidding in exchange for not turning evidence over to the authorities that would land Michael’s true love Fiona in prison for a long, long time.
Or, in the world of Michael Weston, it’s a Thursday.

8 pm Pac-12 Football Championship (Fox) | Lame-duck* UCLA (thanks to USC’s ineligibility) battles No. 9 Oregon in the first-ever Pac-12 championship game. [*This is the opinion of Michael Ausiello and does not necessarily represent the viewpoint of The TVLine-Up.]
8 pm Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC) | The team visits Springfield, Mass. to help the Walkers, a family that for the past two years has lobbied for new state and federal laws against bullying — ever since their 11-year-old son took his own life, in the very home they are desperate to move out of. »

This Friday on CSI: NY (CBS, 9/8c), the John Curtis storyline enters its final act with Det. Jo Danville reeling from the fact that the suspected rapist whom she had a role in setting free years ago in D.C. has eluded another charge, again due to compromised evidence — in the latest instance, a victim’s shaky testimony.
“She is furious,” Sela Ward tells TVLine of Jo’s state of mind. “She is absolutely obsessed with getting this guy (played by Third Watch‘s Jason Wiles), so she’s being doing things that get her in a little bit of trouble with Mac. »

CSI: NY has turned to Michael Weston to play a former co-worker of Jo (Sela Ward) for an episode airing November 18. Weston will be playing Frank, an FBI crime lab agent and Jo’s partner before she the left Washington and the Bureau. To spice up the drama just a smidge, Jo wasn’t on the best of terms with Frank before she departed.
TV Guide reports that Frank and Jo worked on a rape case just before she left. Frank made a mistake while processing evidence and Jo couldn’t keep quiet on the mistake. This resulted in the rapist, John Curtis (Jason Wiles), getting off scot-free. Now in the present, Curtis is at it again, this time in New York, and Frank pays Jo a visit. Let’s hope he’s not too bitter. On top of that, Sen. Matthews »

Nikita‘s newest addition, Dillon Casey — who joined The CW drama in last week’s Season 2 premiere — has been promoted from recurring player to series regular, our sister site Deadline reports. Guess this means he’ll have plenty of time to fall head over heels for Alex — and vice-versa.

They formerly worked together on a case involving the rape of a U.S. senator's daughter — Jo's last case before leaving the FBI for New York. The Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best premiered in Toronto last night, and while there’s no distribution deal to report yet, writer/director and star Ryan O’Nan and Michael Weston have scored a contract that turns their fictional band into a real thing. The duo plays The Brooklyn Brothers in the film, and now O’Nan and Weston have signed a record contract to record under that band name for Rhino Entertainment. It’s an extension of a deal Rhino made to release the soundtrack of a film that also stars Arielle Kebbel, Melissa Leo, Andrew McCarthy, Christopher McDonald, Jason Ritter, and Wilmer Valderrama. O’Nan, who wrote most of the movie’s songs, plays a musician who is on the verge of quitting after a painful breakup with his girlfriend. Then he meets a self-appointed music revolutionary (Weston). After an initial violent clash, the guys form a band, »

Apologies to my weekly Burn Notice readers, due to Comic-Con I had to catch up with Michael Weston and crew this week with a double-header. However make sure you do check out our coverage of Matt Nix and Bruce Campbell being interviewed by Buzzfocus here and this video interview here who came to Comic-Con to promote the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe. This week in “Enemy of My Enemy,” Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) and crew took on Serbian arms dealers who paid a large sum of money for a U.S. military-grade weapon drone. Michael comes up with a high-risk sting that puts Sam (Campbell) in harm’s way, undercover as a planted asset to string Miami’s second biggest heroin dealer, Carmelo Dante (Todd Stashwick) along to flush out the Serbs with his army of henchmen. This plan should have been met with an »

Yesterday I announced BuddyTV was giving away a Burn Notice prize pack but in order to enter you had to pay attention to last night's episode. Need a refresher on what happened?
Last night in "Enemy of My Enemy" we saw Michael put Sam's life in danger in order to help the CIA save a Serbian asset. Carmello, a heroin dealer, wasn't buying what Sam says and the CIA refused to help. Michael and his team used their tricks to save Sam while Fi and Madeline identified the fake Michael Weston. Get all the highlights here. »
Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe is an experiment in television making. In a time when people are expanding the way that they view and consume media, content makers such as Universal, Fox and USA Network are discovering new ways to tell and distribute their stories. Burn Notice, one of the most popular series on cable television is entering their 5th season and have already been renewed for a 6th. To capitalize on the success of the show and the popularity of one of its stars, USA Network is releasing a Sam Axe origin movie straight to DVD.
Bruce Campbell, a cult favorite from his work in the Evil Dead series plays Sam Axe, an ex Navy Seal who accompanies and assists burned spy Michael Weston on many of his missions. Resourceful, laid-back and

Like always, Comic Con International is revealing the schedule of events day by day. It certainly makes planning a lot easier. But that's neither here nor there. There's a lot of panels to cover, so let's just get to it. Check out the pertinent film and television panels set for the first two days of the show after the jump.
The first "day" of the show is Preview Night only, so there's only a couple things happening that night:
Comic-Con and Warner Bros. Television proudly continue their annual Preview Night tradition with exclusive world premiere screenings of the pilot episodes of three of the most highly anticipated TV series pilots of the 2011-12 television season — Alcatraz, Person of Interest, and The Secret Circle — as well as Supernatural: The Anime Series, »
We're less than two weeks away from the 2011 San Diego Comic Con, and convention organizers have finally released the schedule for the first day of programing. You can find the full schedule on comic-con.org , or after the jump I've listed the film and television highlights, which includes the Masters of the Web panel which I've been invited to be a panelist on (In full disclosure, I've been asked to be on this panel for a few years now, but I've only just recently gotten over my fear of speaking in front of large audiences). It should be a fun panel, and I hear they will be giving away some really cool prizes as well. Wednesday (Preview Night) 6:00-9:00 Special Sneak Peek Pilot Screenings: Alcatraz, Person of Interest, The Secret Circle, and Supernatural: The Anime Series— Comic-Con and Warner Bros. Don’t panic, film fans: that reliably ace character actor is not planning to ditch performing for the academic life. Richard Jenkins has signed on to co-star in HappyThankYouMorePlease writer/actor/ director Josh Radnor’s next triple-threat indie project, Liberal Arts. Radnor, usually to be found playing the vaguely annoying central character Ted on TV’s How I Met Your Mother, has already nabbed Sundance breakout star Elizabeth Olsen to star in the story of Jesse, a 35-year-old man (Radnor) who goes back to his old college and wins the interest of a 19-year-old student named Zibby. (Really? Zibby? Okaaay…)Jenkins, who also appeared in Radnor’s last pic, is on to play the main character’s favourite college professor, who helps introduce the pair. Also jumping aboard are Twilight’s Elizabeth Reaser, My Soul to Take’s John Magaro, and Michael Weston, who was last seen on the big screen in Gamer. »
