Evan Weinstein was a Co-Executive Producer, Director and Writer on the first 18 cycles of The Amazing Race, for which he won 7 Emmy Awards, a Directors Guild Award, and a Producers Guild Award.
Most recently, Weinstein oversaw post-production for Curtis Stone's food and lifestyle series, Holidays With Curtis & Lindsay. He was Showrunner for Disney's Holiday Magic Quest, the first time a reality-competition series filmed on the rides at Disney World, and he produced the Quarantine/Lockdown House segment for the hit feature, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.
Weinstein created the web-based reality show, Bud House, as part of Budweiser's sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, filmed on location in South Africa. The series aired daily on a worldwide branded channel, with a cast from 32 countries speaking 14 different languages, generating 200 million unique impressions across all platforms.
For Budweiser, Weinstein also created and produced The Big Time, a reality-competition series airing on ABC, and Dream On, a docu-soap about an English soccer team airing on NBC Sports Network and ESPN UK.
Weinstein was an Executive Producer/Showrunner for the TBS pilot Famous-ish, Pop Network's Just Kidding, Outdoor Chanel's docu-soap The Gunfather, NatGeo's Forage Wars, Soap Net's Fashionista Diaries and VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and he consulted on the U.S. development of the dramatic competition series, Hunted, for CBS.
Other credits as writer, producer and/or director include network series Paradise Hotel, Profiles From The Front Line, Before They Were Stars and America's Funniest People, as well as Cooking Channel's Food Paradise and Outrageous Holiday Feasts with Carla Hall, SyFy's Robot Combat League, History Channel's The Most, A&E's Top Ten, Paramount Syndication's Wild Things, daytime talker The Suzanne Somers Show, the news magazine series Extra, and History Channel's 2-hour documentary, The Apostle Paul. On the development side of things, Weinstein has consulted on projects for MTV, SyFy, Animal Planet, Jupiter Entertainment, O'Malley Productions, and Gale Ann Hurd's Valhalla Entertainment.
Evan holds a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University and a Diploma of Music from New York's "famed" High School of Performing Arts.
