The iconic TV mom is crash-landing on the hit sitcom later this season — much to the chagrin of one Hidden Hills resident.
From Full House to 90210, we’d pretty much follow Lori Loughlin to any TV locale; and we’ll be making good on that promise when she guest stars on ABC’s The Neighbors later this season! Unfortunately, HollywoodLife.com has learned that her visit to the out-of-this-world sitcom won’t exactly be a pleasant one.
Lori has been tapped to play the “arch-nemesis” of Jami Gertz‘s Debbie Weaver, we’ve learned exclusively, and we can’t wait to see the ladies go toe-to-toe!
The initial casting news was actually broken by Lori on Nov. 4, and her revealing tweet also included a surprise for fans of her earlier work:

The idea of adapting the Middle Eastern folk tale “Aladdin” was first proposed by songwriter Howard Ashman in 1988. He and longtime collaborator Alan Menken were working on The Little Mermaid at the time, and production was about to begin on Beauty And The Beast. Ashman wrote an initial treatment for the project and collaborated on six songs with Menken.
After The Little Mermaid was completed, co-directors John Musker and Ron Clements turned their attention to writing a first draft script with Linda Woolverton providing a screenplay. Musker and Clements would go on to direct.
