Best known for his role of "Uncle Buster" in the TV series Harper Valley P.T.A. (1981).
Best known for his role as Deputy Perkins (no first name for him was ever given) in the TV series B.J. and the Bear (1978) and the TV series The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo (1979). He also portrayed the same character Deputy 'Sam' Perkins in the TV series "Alias Smith and Jones" (1971).
Two of his best known roles were stupid sidekicks (right hand man) of crooked sheriffs: The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo (1979) playing Deputy Perkins opposite Claude Akins and Up in Smoke (1978) playing Harry opposite Stacy Keach.
