Rowan spends 'Eight Days' with Lifetime
Kelly Rowan, best known for her role as Kirsten Cohen on the Fox series The O.C., has been tapped to star in and will serve as an executive producer on the movie Eight Days to Live, which will air on both Lifetime and Canada's CTV. In the movie, a true-life story that just went into production, Rowan will portray Teresa Spring, whose family spent more than a week in 2001 searching for her son Joe (Dustin Milligan), who went missing in the rough interior of British Columbia after his car drifted off the highway down a steep embankment. He lay trapped without food or water for eight days. Shawn Doyle plays Joe's father, Tim; Teagan Moss portrays his younger sister, Becca; and Ryan McDonell plays his younger brother, Will. Gwynyth Walsh will portray a helicopter pilot who helps with the search, while Brian Markinson will play a police sergeant.
