Unprecedented: Young Chicago Non-Profit Hosts International Social Change Film Festival in Three StatesChicago EditionSocial Change, a national non-profit, will host its 6th annual Social Change Film Festival in three states: Illinois, California and New York. The Chicago showcase will run from October 13th — 15th at the renowned Harold Washington Cultural Center (Hwcc), a Social Change partner for the event, which partners with national and international organizations to bring artistic content to all and uses performing arts and media to create social action and to deter at-risk behavior in the over 25,000 youth in Chicago and beyond. The Los Angeles and New York showcases will run on October 21st at West La College and on October 28th at the the Downtown Community Television Center, respectively.

We have known for quite some time that M. Night Shyamalan's Split 2, which is currently going under the title Glass, will bring back Unbreakable stars Bruce Willis as David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price. Today we have word that two more Unbreakable stars will return. Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard will reprise their roles as David Dunn's son Joseph and Elijah's mother, who will both join Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Split stars James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, and Sarah Paulson in an unspecified role. This may be the first of many casting announcements, since production is expected to begin quite soon.

A reunion of the acclaimed HBO prison drama is among the shows that have been added to the lineup for PaleyFest NY 2017, set to run Oct. 6-16. Other newly annouanced panels include Black Mirror, Blue Bloods, Late Night With Seth Meyers, as well as a conversation with Black-ish star (and Emmy nominee) Tracee Ellis Ross.

Chicago – TV fans know Monica Raymund as paramedic Gabby Dawson on the long-running “Chicago Fire.” But the talented actor is expanding her range, debuting her first film as director, “Tanya,” at the Midwest Independent Film Festival on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017. The short film – written by Sam Forman – will be part of “Female Filmmakers Night” at the Midwest Indie, and is part of Raymund’s involvement with Hidden Tears Project, an organization dedicated to raising consciousness by creating media on gender inequality, sexual abuse and human trafficking.
“Tanya” was produced in association with the Human Tears Project, as it tells the flashback story of a 14-year-old girl (Kiah McKirnan) who encounters a client named Chuck in a prostitution scenario. There is something different about the exchange, and the result will be life changing for everyone involved. Somebody new is joining the Chicago Fire team. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eloise Mumford has been cast in season six of the NBC TV show.On the Dick Wolf-produced procedural, Mumford will play "Hope Jacquinot, an old friend of paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer). She is described as a playful, charming girl-next-door turned up a notch who has sprung free of her tiny hometown in Indiana to hit the streets of Chicago." Since Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 13 aired on Valentine's Day it was appropriate that the featured story was about Kelly Severide and his ongoing interest in Anna.
Severide went to Springfield this week, but didn't get the happy ending he was looking for. Neither did anyone else, unless you count the guy that Herrmann helped land a job.
Severide traveled to the Springfield Fire Department to consider Dennis Mack's offer to become the new Battalion Chief. Naturally he stopped by Springfield Med to find Anna and tell her about the news. But she surprised him by telling him not to give up Chicago for her.
Still, Severide hung onto the idea, telling Stella that it wasn't just about Anna but also about his not wanting to turn into his father. He has a point but he can also start by getting a hold of his romantic life. And not trying to »
