Universal Studios Giovanni Ribisi and Mark Wahlberg in ‘Contraband’
In “Contraband,” Mark Wahlberg plays Chris, a reformed contraband runner who is unwittingly drawn back into the life when his brother-in-law bungles a drug deal and becomes the target of crime boss Tim (played by Giovanni Ribisi). Chris’s plan to protect his brother-in-law goes awry when Tim targets Chris’s wife, Kate (played by Kate Beckinsale).
The suspense thriller — a remake of “Reykjavik-Rotterdam” — is directed by Icelandic director Baltasar Kormakur and is 110 minutes long. »
