The Best ‘Saved by the Bell’ Season 4 Episodes

5 March 2015 6:15 AM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

The excitement has finally died down after Jimmy Fallon hosted a reunion of sorts with the cast of Saved by the Bell on The Tonight Show in early February. The sketch depicted Fallon as a student at Bayside High School hanging out with Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley), and Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen).  Dennis Haskins even popped up and reprised his role as meddling Principal Mr. Belding. The reunion did not feature cameos from Lark Voorhies and Dustin Diamond, who played Lisa Turtle and Screech Powers, respectively. Over these past few weeks, some of us here at TVOvermind put on our stonewashed jeans and our best pairs of Cons and watched classic episodes of the series. This week, we will be picking out the three greatest episodes from the fourth and final season of Saved by the Bell. Season 4 was when we were… »

The Best ‘Saved by the Bell’ Season 3 Episodes

24 February 2015 4:58 AM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Where you wondering where Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies were when you watched the Saved by the Bell sketch on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? If you are like most fans of the popular series that ran on NBC from 1989 to 1993, you probably did not care. Shortly after the awesome sketch aired on Fallon’s talk show, Voorhies made an announcement that scheduling conflicts made her unable to appear with former co-stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, and Dennis Haskins. That seems pretty shocking considering Voorhies’ career has been almost non-existent in the last several years. Then a few days ago, Diamond went public about why he was not on the show. He claims he was never even asked to be a part of it, which may have to do with his recent episode with the law. Over the last several weeks we have been binge-watching episodes of Saved by the… »

19 February 2015 7:55 AM, PST | Us Weekly | See recent Us Weekly news »

Don't feel sorry for Screech! After much speculation, Dustin Diamond has finally revealed that he, in fact, wasn't invited to the epic Saved by the Bell reunion on The Tonight Show earlier this month. But instead of pouting about it, the actor seems to be brushing it off. "It would have been fun," Diamond, 38, recently told Fox6 News, "but I don't see it as a personal insult." Diamond, as well as Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), were noticeably absent from Jimmy Fallon's nostalgia-filled skit on Feb. 4, which [...] »

The Best ‘Saved by the Bell’ Season 1 Episodes

9 February 2015 6:10 AM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Jimmy Fallon did something awesome last week. Fallon is known for having a love for early 90’s sitcoms and made two hilarious videos that debuted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The first was his version of the opening theme to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the series that Will Smith starred in on NBC from 1990 to 1996. Then came something that fans never thought would happen. Fallon aired a video of himself roaming the halls of Bayside High with our favorite characters of Saved by the Bell, the Saturday morning series that ran on NBC from 1989 to 1993. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, and Dennis Haskins all showed up to play their iconic roles. However, Lark Voorhies and Dustin Diamond were no shows. You can check out the clip by clicking here. This awesome moment in pop culture history made us want to go and re-watch every single episode… »

StreamFix: 5 '90s Shows to Binge Watch on Netflix

6 February 2015 11:41 AM, PST | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

That "Saved by the Bell" reunion on "The Tonight Show" got us thinking: We could use a blast of nostalgic goodness this weekend. Here are five '90s gems available on Netflix to drink in over Saturday and Sunday. "The Wonder Years" Somehow it goes underreported that "The Wonder Years" never had a bad season. Kevin Arnold's development in the last year may not have been as sweet or innocent as in show's legendary first season, but that's why I loved it: He was often bitter and unlikable, and his blowout with Paul at that poker night was one of the most heartbreakingly real moments I've ever seen in a TV friendship. Sometimes your dork best friend from middle school is an awkward fit in your high school social circle.  "Dinosaurs" I'm not saying I was the most discerning eight-year-old back when "Dinosaurs" was popular, but I remember vividly thinking this show was hilarious. »

It's been more than two decades since fans bid farewell to Saved by the Bell and TV's beloved gang of teenagers, but before Jimmy Fallon brought together some of the cast for a skit on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, People had a Bayside reunion of our own.
