John Stamos Shares Pic From Epic 'ER' Reunion

John Stamos Shares Pic From Epic 'ER' Reunion
As John Stamos gears up to be a dad, he's surrounding himself with family and friends -- old and new!

The 54-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday to share a pic of his recent unexpected visitors. It appears Stamos had a surprise, mini ER reunion over the weekend, and judging from the photo, it looked pretty epic.

Goran Visnjic, Maura Tierney, Scott Grimes and Linda Cardellini were all in attendance, and at one point, they jumped in a photo with Stamos behind the medical drama's "old County General doors."

"My #ER cast came to my house for a visit," he captioned it, adding, "I keep everything" in reference to the doors taken from set.

The only thing that would make this picture better would be an appearance by George Clooney, who played Doug Ross on the TV series. Like Stamos, Clooney became a first-time father in his fifties when he welcomed twins Alexander and Ella with wife

Review: ‘Never Here’ is a Reality-Blurring Suspense Thriller

Miranda Fall (Mireille Enos) is a cataloger. Her art leads her on journeys following new subjects in order to understand who each is by what each does and possesses. She voyeuristically captures their lives in photographs and objects, exhibiting her findings as though a celebration despite some of her targets believing it more akin to a memoriam. And why shouldn’t they? Miranda is ostensibly stealing their identities for public consumption and in turn private financial compensation. She uses the mundane routines and patterns of others to provide a distraction from her own and the fame and fortune allowing her excitement and material gains they could never afford themselves. Is she therefore cataloging these strangers or merely cataloging what she needs from them to satisfy her own selfish purposes?

It’s an interesting question to ask of all artists who create in the hopes of a sustainable life. How much

Maika Monroe in Trailer for 'The Tribes of Palos Verdes' Surfer Drama

"I'm worried about you..." IFC Films has unveiled an official trailer for director brothers Brendan & Emmett Malloy's new film The Tribes of Palos Verdes, a surf drama about "young Medina" who "attempts to surf her way to happiness." If that logline doesn't make your eyes roll, some of the "life is tough" footage in this trailer definitely will. Though it actually doesn't look as bad as it sounds. The Tribes of Palos Verdes stars Maika Monroe as Medina, a young surfer woman from Palos Verdes, as well as Jennifer Garner as her mom, plus Cody Fern, Alicia Silverstone, Noah Silver, Elisabeth Rohm, Goran Visnjic, Justin Kirk and Joely Fisher. This looks like it's packed full of drama galore. It is "set amidst the sun-kissed beaches and crystal blue waters of the California coast" which may be enough to get a few folks into theaters. Here's the trailer (+ poster

Mireille Enos & Sam Shepard in First Trailer for Thriller 'Never Here'

"Happens all the time in my business... People just seep, vanish." Vertical Entertainment has debuted the first trailer for a dark thriller titled Never Here, formerly You Were Never Here; not to be confused with Lynn Ramsay's You Were Never Really Here (which is a fantastic film). From director Camille Thoman, the film is about an installation artist who follows and photographs strangers for her art, until disturbing events lead her to suspect that someone out there is watching her. Mireille Enos stars, along with the late, great Sam Shepard, plus Goran Visnjic, Vincent Piazza, Nina Arianda, Ana Nogueira. One of the quotes describes it as a "haunting Lynchian mystery" which seems quite accurate. This looks strange and confusing. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Camille Thoman's Never Here, direct from YouTube: Lines blur between real and imaginary, crime and art, the watcher and the watched in this eerie,

Laff 2017 Review Round-Up: Replace, Midnighters, Never Here, and Desolation

Back in June, the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival took over Southern California, hosting screenings at numerous locations and featuring numerous genre films that horror and sci-fi fans should definitely keep on their radars in the coming months. Here are my thoughts on three of the movies that I had the opportunity to watch at the festival:

Replace: As far genre feature film debuts go, co-writer/director Norbert Keil has a lot to be proud of with Replace, a stunning and beautifully executed cinematic mystery that’s part body horror/part psychological thriller. Something of a hallucinatory fever dream at times, Keil has crafted an intriguing and chilling portrait of just how far some folks are willing to go in the name of vanity, and the whole affair is anchored by a trio of powerhouse performances by Rebecca Forsythe, Barbara Crampton, and Lucie Aron.

In Replace, we’re introduced to

Remembering Unusual Post-wwii Novel That Led to 2 Movie Adaptations: One 'Straight,' One 'Gay'
Crime novel The Blank Wall by Elisabeth Sanxay Holding. While her husband is away during World War II, housewife Lucia Holley – the sort of “Everywoman” who looks great in a two-piece bathing suit – does whatever it takes to protect the feeling of “normality” in her bourgeois, suburban household. The Blank Wall is a classic depiction of an attempted cover-up being much more serious than the actual crime. Sound bites: Remembering the classic crime novel 'The Blank Wall' and its two movie adaptations – 'The Reckless Moment' & 'The Deep End' Crime novel writer Elisabeth Sanxay Holding (1889–1955) is not a name familiar to many, and yet Raymond Chandler described her as “the top suspense writer of them all. She doesn't pour it on and make you feel irritated. Her characters are wonderful; and she has a sort of inner calm which I find very attractive.” Holding has been identified as “The Godmother of Noir” and, more

After recently celebrating the world premiere of her thought-provoking thriller Never Here at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival, Daily Dead had the opportunity to catch up with writer/director Camille Thoman to discuss her approach to the project and the inspiration behind her debut narrative feature, working with her talented ensemble, which includes Mireille Enos (World War Z, The Killing), Sam Shepard (Blackhawk Down, The Right Stuff), Vincent Piazza (Rescue Me, Boardwalk Empire), and Goran Visnjic (ER, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), and much more.

Never Here is currently making its way on the film festival circuit, and for those you who are into David Lynch-esque descents into madness, I’d highly recommend checking this one out when you can.

You did a really amazing job with the story, so congrats to you. I wanted to go back a little bit before working on this film, because I

Mireille Enos in “The Catch”: Kelsey McNeal/ABC

Vertical Entertainment has snagged the U.S. rights to the Mireille Enos thriller “Never Here,” Deadline reports. The film, which made its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 18, will receive a theatrical release later this year and will air on Starz in 2018.

Written and directed by Camille Thoman (“The Longest Game”), “Never Here” follows Miranda (Enos), an installation artist who is engaging in an affair. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Starz and the ‘Never Here’ team to bring this incredibly visceral film to audiences,” Vertical co-president Rich Goldberg commented. “Camille’s distinct vision threads an especially unique story that calls for active participation from every viewer.”

Never Here” also stars Nina Arianda (“Florence Foster Jenkins”), Ana Nogueira (“Vampire Diaries”), Sam Shepard (“Bloodlines”), Goran Visnjic (“Timeless”), Vincent Piazza (“The Intervention”), and Desmin Borges (“You’re the Worst”).

Wonderbar Productions and Before the Door Pictures are producing “Never Here.” Thoman is serving as producer alongside Elizabeth Yng-Wong, Bronwyn Cornelius, Julian Cautherley, Radium Cheung, and Corey Moosa.

Enos starred as Sarah Linden in Veena Sud’s mystery series “The Killing” from 2011 to 2014. The “If I Stay” actress earned a Golden Globe nod for the role. Enos portrayed Alice Vaughan in the Shondaland romantic thriller “The Catch” for two seasons. The ABC show was cancelled earlier this year.

Last week, NBC cancelled the Timeless TV show, and then on Saturday, reversed the decision and renewed the time travel drama for a second season. And guess what?
