If you're searching among this year's new Fall TV show to get addicted to, look no further than NBC's Timeless. As the title would suggest, the series focuses heavily on sci-fi aspects of time travel, but it also promises to be quite the adventure for history buffs, as the main characters travel through all different eras in history. Plus, if you were sad about Sean Maguire's departure on Once Upon a Time, you can see plenty of him when he plays James Bond author Ian Fleming. Who's Starring? Goran Visnjic, Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Sakina Jaffrey, Paterson Joseph, and Ouat alum Sean Maguire. What It's About The drama is about a man (Visnjic) who steals a time machine from the government to change the course of American history and the unlikely trio that tries to stop him. A new promo for Timeless debuted this Saturday, and it should get history buffs even more stoked for this upcoming time travel series. The promo shows Timeless’ heroes jumping into eras gone by, their clothes and their surroundings morphing around them. We see Lucy, Rufus, and Wyatt transported to World War II and to Ford’s Theatre apparently on a fateful night in 1865, both of which have been revealed as parts of history where Timeless episodes will be set. And the trio gets a peek at Amelia Earhart — who had not been previously listed as the subject of an upcoming episode. Don’t let this get you excited for an Amelia Earhart episode, though. There is not an Earhart episode in the works, to the knowledge of an NBC rep HitFix contacted. She explained that the promo simply captures the possibilities of where Timeless’ heroes could end up. So that »

The Timeless heroes know how to time travel in era-appropriate style, as entertainingly illustrated in a new promo for NBC’s upcoming action-adventure series.
Premiering Monday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer (Rectify), Matt Lanter (90210) and Malcolm Barrett (Better Off Ted) as a historian, soldier and scientist tasked by the government with chasing after a criminal (ER‘s Goran Visnjic) who has stolen a time machine. To that end, the trio are outfitted with a… less-shiny, not-entirely-reliable “beta” version of the stolen vessel.

Timeless is among many time travel shows on air this year, when turn-back-the-clock TV seems to be the hottest new trend. But it’s the only series that’s daring to deal with sending a black character to eras where it was not at all fun to be black. Malcolm Barrett (Better off Ted) plays Rufus, a scientist who can pilot the time machine that goes back to the Hindenburg disaster in the first episode of Timeless, which premieres on NBC this October. Rufus is hesitant to join the small crew tasked with chasing a suspected terrorist back to May 6, 1937. “I am black,” he tells his superior. “There is literally no place in American history that will be awesome for me.” But he goes back anyway. There’s a reason he’s best for the job, a reason still mysterious to viewers upon the end of the pilot episode. And »

Anton Yelchin was pronounced dead early Sunday after his body was found pinned between his vehicle and the gate of his home in Studio City, California, and authorities say that the car may not have been properly parked and rolled backward, trapping the 27-year-old actor. The tragedy cut short a bright, rising career that included such films as the rebooted Star Trek movies and the indie drama Like Crazy - and it was a career that started early on for the talented star. The actor made his screen debut as a precocious 10-year-old in an episode of TV's ER from »

For a talent whose career was cut short by an accident at the age of 27, Anton Yelchin leaves behind an unusually long list of credits. Of course, it helps that he started young. Yelchin was only 10 when he made his TV debut on “ER.” It was a role that’s chilling to revisit in light of today’s tragedy, considering that Yelchin played a boy who survived a deadly crash. With scrapes on his face and his arm in a splint, Yelchin listens as Goran Visnjic delivers the news that his parents died in the operating room, and in a moment far more adult than his age, he asks to see their bodies.
In that first screen performance, we see the paradox the persisted for the rest of Yelchin’s career — that mix of uncanny maturity and childlike vulnerability, characterized by soulful, saucer-like eyes; the sort of face whose cheeks »

Many stars of next season’s potential shows have taken to Instagram and Twitter to share photos — including the aforementioned shirtless shot of Taylor John Smith — from productions hoping to nab a series order.

This post contains spoilers for Friday’s episode of Grimm.
The moment Adalind Schade has feared for months arrived — in snarling, bone-cracking fashion — during Friday’s Grimm.
The hour, which marked the 100th episode for the NBC drama, saw the unexpected (and unwelcome) return of Adalind’s Hexenbiest powers, brought on by a subconscious desire to protect Rosalee, herself and baby Kelly. The metamorphosis began while Nick and Monroe were off searching in Germany’s Black Forest, when Rosalee’s strung-out old friend Tony showed up at the spice shop, demanding money »

Grimm‘s Silas Weir Mitchell sits in a Portland, Ore., hotel’s dining room, co-star and onscreen wife Bree Turner to his left, during a breakfast with reporters in February. He’s speaking not of the giant and heavenly smelling German pancake a waiter has just placed in front of him — “a Grimm pancake,” he jokes — but of the NBC series’ upcoming 100th episode.
The milestone hour, which airs Friday (9/8c), continues Monroe and Nick’s search for »
