Hit #113 on the Billboard Singles Charts in 1961 with "Abdul's Party" (Era 3044)
His song "Mr. Livingston" hit #75 on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1960.
Had a #1 hit record on the Billboard Hot 100 for one week in 1960 with "Plese Mr. Custer", a song in which he plays a soldier in Gen. George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry unit begging Custer not to take him and the others to the Battle of the Little Big Horn. He also had the #75 follow up hit, "Mr. Livingston".
