Brenda Varda is an actress, musician, and writer. Born in Minnesota, she attended the University of Minnesota in theatre and music, and then worked in theatre and improvisation in St. Louis, Minneapolis, Chicago, and San Francisco. She also holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, and an M.F.A. from University of California, Riverside.

After regional theatre work, she moved to Los Angeles, first appearing in "The Love of the Nightingale" with Los Angeles Theatre Works, and then appeared in over 100 national commercials, while also doing guest stars and pilots.

She is also a theatre musical director in Los Angeles, and also writes plays, including Liquid, Fables du Theatre, Alice Through the Wormhole, and Reactor: Simple, clean, efficient.
