Tony is the biological father of Michael Morpurgo, the British writer, whose best known work is War Horse. Tony returned from WW2 war to find his wife wanted to be with another man, so he walked away. It was only years later, whilst watching Great Expectations, that Morpurgo found out, via his mother, who his real father was. See more »
