Recently, NBC dropped the new,official synopsis/description for their upcoming "Grimm" episode 9 of season 5. The episode is entitled, "Star Crossed," and it turns out that we're going to see some very interesting and intense stuff take place as a historical Wesen shows up to give Nick, Hank and the crew some major trouble. We'll also see the Black Claw and Hadrian war get even worse, and more! In the new, 9th episode press release: An Ancient Wesen Ritual Claims Lives In Portland - Jacqueline Toboni And Damien Puckler Guest Star. Press release number 2: A barbaric Wesen ritual will end up getting brought to the present , and Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) will already be five steps behind the serial killer. Recently, NBC released the new,official synopsis/description for their upcoming "Grimm" episode 8 of season 5. The episode is entitled, "A Reptile Dysfunction," and it turns out that we're going to see some very dramatic and wild stuff go on as a legendary creature shows back up on the scene to give Nick and company a new set of problems to deal with. We'll also see Rosalee get haunted by her past, and more! In the new, 8th episode press release: The Legend Of The Lake Monster Resurfaces. A local legend will come back to life as Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) is going to investigate a mysterious sighting linked to a tourist's death at a local lake. Grimm: Season Six Renewal? NBC Exec Thinks it 'Isn't Going Anywhere'

NBC is not grim about Grimm. While it hasn't yet decided whether to cancel the Grimm TV series after season five or renew it for a season six, NBC's Entertainment Chair, Robert Greenblatt, sounds more positive than negative about the fate of this fantasy police procedural drama.

Greenblatt spoke to The Oregonian's Kristi Turnquist during the TCA winter press tour. As quoted below, it sounds like the Peacock Network is more fond than not of this Friday night fright-fest. Brimming with Wesen-ality, Grimm stars: David Giuntoli, Russel Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bree Turner, Silas Weir, Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Claire Coffee, and yes, Bitsie Tulloch.
