Grimm season 4 episode 5 review: Cry Luison

3 hours ago | Den of Geek | See recent Den of Geek news »

Grimm regains some humour and momentum in this week's episode, Cry Luison. Here's Christine's review...

This review contains spoilers.

4.5 Cry Luison

Last week Bree Turner (who plays Rosalee) tweeted that this week’s episode, Cry Luison, “begins the bullet train of momentum to our mid season finale.”

While that bullet train has yet to reach high-speed, we did see a return of a little of the humour that’s been missing from the series so far this season, and yes, even some plot development.

We pick up where last week’s episode left off, with Monroe and Rosalee arriving at Nick and Juliette’s with Elizabeth, who has figured out how Nick “can get his Grimm back.” There’s only one problem: In order to completely reverse the spell, Juliette must take the potion and then sleep with Nick... as Adalind!

That’s a pretty big ask of any girlfriend, »

Grimm: Season Four Ratings

22 November 2014 12:51 PM, PST | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

The fourth season will bring NBC's Grimm episode count to 88, enough for a decent-sized syndication package. Will this be the end of the Friday night series or will it keep going? Cancelled or renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned.

On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- usually the next day, around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to see the latest.

Sofia Vergara, who is a cancer survivor herself, shared the stage with Kevin Bacon while her Modern Family costar Eric Stonestreet opened the show. Others, like Joe Manganiello, Grimm's Bree Turner, Jordana Brewster, and Dane Cook, sat onstage in the tech lounge answering phone calls, chatting on Facebook, and responding to messages from donors and survivors.
