Psychoville and Todd and the Book of Pure Evil Start FEARnet's Twisted Comedy Hour Aug. 2nd!

FEARnet's Twisted Comedy Hour is set to premiere Tues, August 2nd, and this broadcast could not be any better. Todd and the Book of Pure Evil will be supplemented with similar kinds of extras and editorial content that was featured during its Canadian run, on Space: The Imagination Station and Psychoville will have bonus show material to bring over new fans.

Both products premiered in the past year(s) in its native country to a great fan reception. They have even garnered nods in industry magazines like Fangoria and Rue Morgue. Psychoville also earned the prestigious British Comedy Award. Just when Tues evenings may begin to look boring, horror-comedy hopes to liven things up.

Todd and the Book of Pure Evil in North America this Summer

The summer is ablaze with FearNet's American rebroadcast of "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil." Slated for Aug 2nd, at 10pm (Est). This specialty station will be picking up where the Comedy Network left off with their scheduling. The Comedy Network's broadcast began June 5th, with two back-to-back episodes. This Thursdays, June 16th an episode will repeat. Please check your local listings for exact times.

With American attention now on this Canadian production, prospects for a second season are looking very good.

The synopsis for "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil:"

Details on Script of 'Being Erica' Season 4

The drama series Being Erica will return this fall on CBC, a Canadian TV network, for a fourth season.

In the fourth season, Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a woman in her thirties from Toronto, is trained by Dr. Tom (Michael Riley). In her fourth phase of her therapy, Erica learns how to be a doctor who helps people fix their regrets.

Her trial patients get to be her own friends and family relatives. She travels back in time to help them and they're not aware that she's treating them.

Relations

Erica is still with her new boyfriend Adam (Adam Fergus). However, when Kai (Sebastian Pigott) comes back, she finds herself torn.

Erica also has to live with growing pains at 50/50 Press, a publishing company she founded with her business partner Julianne Giacomelli (Reagan Pasternak).

'Being Erica' Season 4 Begins Production

Canadian actress Erin Karpluk announced yesterday on her Facebook fan page that production has finally begin for the fourth season of the dramedy Being Erica in Toronto.

The show will return on CBC, a Canadian TV network, in fall 2011.

This TV series created by Jana Sinyor is about Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a woman in her thirties. With the help of a therapist (Michael Riley), she travels in her past in order to fix her regrets. At the end of the day, Erica tries to put her life back on track.

The show also stars Joanna Douglas, Vinessa Antoine, John Boylan, Kathleen Laskey, Morgan Kelly, Devon Bostick, Billy Turnbull, Adam Fergus and Brandon Jay McLaren.

CBC will reveal the synopsis of Being Erica's fourth season a few weeks before the beginning.

CBC Renews 'Being Erica' for a 4th Season

CBC, a Canadian TV network, announced today that its original series Being Erica will return for a fourth season. No premiere date for this season has been announced, but the show is likely to return next fall.

In the third season, Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a woman of Toronto in her thirties, was in the second phase of a therapy with Dr. Tom (Michael Riley). This doctor has the power to make Erica re-visit her past in order to fix a regret and learn something about life.

In her personal life, Erica works hard, along with her business partner Julianne (Reagan Pasternak) to make their independent publishing house succeed.
