(1980) Stage: He played Cap'n Andy in the touring company of "Show Boat", the first nationwide touring company of the show in ten years. Butterfly McQueen played and sang the role of Queenie, the cook.

(1959) Stage: He played "Prof. Harold Hill" in a highly popular and critically acclaimed touring company of the stage musical "The Music Man"--visiting many major American cities. In all, Tucker played Prof. Harold Hill 2,008 times between 1958 and 1963--more times than Robert Preston (who played the role on Broadway for 1,375 shows and starred in the film version, The Music Man (1962)).

(1971) Unsold pilot: Appeared (as "Kid Sheleen") in a pilot for a western series to be called "Cat Ballou", based on the film Cat Ballou (1965).

(1970s) Stage: Appeared (as "The Coach") in a touring company of Jason Miller's drama "That Championship Season."

(1974) Stage: Appeared in "Fair Game for Lovers" on Broadway.

(????) Stage: Appeared in a touring production of "Plaza Suite".

(????) Stage: Appeared in a touring production of "Show Boat".
