Jim True-Frost was born on July 31, 1966 in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA as James True. He is an actor, known for The Hudsucker Proxy (1994), The Wire (2002) and Affliction (1997). He has been married to Cora Frost since June 5, 1999. They have two children.

Member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
He and his wife Cora, whose maiden name is Frost, both legally changed their surnames to True-Frost.
He was awarded the 1988 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play for "Killers" at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois.
Son, Leo, born October 31, 2008. He was born with cerebral palsy.
Daughter, Phoebe, born August 27, 2011.
Did a full-frontal nude scene on Broadway in the 1990 revival of The Grapes of Wrath at the Cort Theatre. His character, Al, went skinny-dipping by jumping into an onstage in-ground pool that was located in the orchestra pit.
