If long-time Leprechaun fans were upset with what Lionsgate and WWE Studios did with their gritty reboot of Leprechaun: Origins, then you may get your fix with Gnome Alone, which stars the former Mini Me, Verne Troyer.
Based on the title, we can only assume this will have the tongue in cheek humour of the original Leprechaun series. Check out the artwork and synopsis below:
“When timid college student Zoe witnesses a hit-and-run, the dying victim gives her a strange amulet. Suddenly, all those who have offended Zoe in her life begin dying horrible deaths at the hands of a malicious gnome (Troyer). When Zoe discovers the horrible history behind the amulet, will she be able to harness its magical power before the gnome begins killing those closest to her?”

So, as we eagerly await for the mystery(ish) celebrity guests to enter the famous house in Elstree, we've decided to reminisce with our favourite ever star contestants below:
"Yeah, Jackie," were the only two words uttered from the side of Jackie's heavily siliconed mouth as she entered the house, draped in fur and dripping in jewels. Her entrance soon became one of the most memorable moments from the entire series.
It was part-Jackie's presence, part-Jackie's face that really shocked Brigitte Nielsen back on the show in 2005 when her former mother-in-law entered the house on day five.
Fellow housemates had to refer to Jackie as the Queen Mother, »

So…what do I mean by “What the F**k?” Movies? These are the films that, upon completing your viewing, you seriously worry about the director’s sanity. Or you can’t really comprehend what you just saw. Or you know what you watched was something magical, but can’t really put the pieces together in your mind. Or, worse, you know what happened, but certifiably it’s insane. But with this “definition” comes a few caveats: no horror films and no fully animated films. Those genres lean a little too crazy to begin with – it’s more fun to look at films that force a sense of realism, even if it’s just on the surface.

While there are plenty of thing we love about Shark Week—including the hilarious promos and the shark-inspired celebrity pics—we didn't expect Verne Troyer to be one of them. Until today, that is. The 45-year-old Austin Powers star took to Instagram on Wednesday to express his love for the annual week-long celebration, sharing a pic of himself dressed up in a shark costume, which subsequently sent us bursting into a fit of giggles. "Got a little too excited watching #sharkweek last night," the actor captioned the photo, in which he's flipping through the television channels while dressed in character with a giant grin on his face. There are some occasions when in-game cameos can be used to surprise, delight and excite gamers. When implemented in the right instance, a surprise appearance can be an extremely memorable part of the game. In recent years we saw World of Warcraft exploit this in their advertising campaigns with the likes of Jean-Claude Van Damme, Ozzy Osbourne, Verne Troyer and Shatner lending their image to Blizzard’s Mmorpg, creating a great deal of publicity as a result.
Blizzard may have used this tactic but a few years ago but game developers have been using cameo appearances for decades. However, on many occasions we see comically ridiculous cameos shoehorned into a game, presumably to try and garner some cheap exposure. The cameo could be motivated by an aging celebrity desperately trying to maintain their relevancy or a game’s developer trying to give a nod to another fictional franchise. »

(Cbr) "Supernatural's" Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) has had many memorable run-ins with the Grim Reaper, both of the literal and metaphorical variety. The most haunting and harrowing of the literal encounters were the ones that brought him face to face with Tessa (Lindsey McKeon), a reaper who claimed souls for the physical embodiment of Death. They first crossed paths in season two of "Supernatural" when Tessa tried to claim a comatose Dean’s soul. Their subsequent encounters in seasons four and six reminded Dean that the natural order of the universe was complicated and ugly, but necessary. Tessa came to feel the pain of the natural order herself in season nine thanks to the Angel Metatron’s machinations and their impact on the afterlife. The fatefully intertwined Dean and Tessa had their final run-in during the penultimate episode of season nine, with Tessa drawing their saga to a close »

Where's Austin Powers when you need him?! While traveling over the weekend, Verne Troyer had a very hands-on encounter with airport security. The 45-year-old Austin Powers actor posted an extremely awkward photo of himself at the airport on Facebook yesterday with the caption, "Tsa struggles." In the unusual snapshot, Troyer sits in his motorized scooter while leaning forward as a gloved Tsa agent pokes around the backside of his body. Troyer's face appears understandably uncomfortable as the security person searches him. We can only imagine what the airport worker was looking for during the awkward pat down. Troyer also shared the Tsa pic on Twitter, writing, "Another day »

I don’t know about this. A #CancelColbert hashtag showed up on Twitter over a tweet based on a joke that appeared on Wednesday’s Colbert Report that brought back racist caricature Ching-Chong Ding-Dong as part of coverage of the increasing controversy over the name of Washington’s football team. Part of me wants to scream at people who can’t tell the difference between a joke with racist motivations and a racist joke used to draw a parallel to racism directed at other groups. (Or to yell that you might want to rethink your outrage about racism towards Asian-Americans when the woman who wrote a book defending internment camps agrees with you.) Another part of me is thinking, “These people can’t be real, right?” Are these the people who tell studies that they think that Colbert is secretly really conservative? This is a set up to a bit, »

League Cup Football: Sunderland v Manchester United
7.30pm, Sky Sports 1
While not quite matching last season's competition for wild unpredictability, this year's League Cup has thrown out a respectable share of shock results. Chief among those was surely Sunderland's victory over Chelsea in the quarter finals, a win which sets up this semi-final first leg tie against David Moyes's wobbly Manchester United. Further upset potential is offered up tomorrow night, as West Ham visit free-scoring Manchester City. Gwilym Mumford
