We have a couple of updates for NBC's "Grimm" that should help fill the void until the Olympics are over and the show returns, including word on a new guest star and the upcoming digital series "Love Is in the Air."
Per TV Guide, C. Thomas Howell (pictured; "Southland," "Criminal Minds") will play FBI agent Weston Steward in Episode 3.18. Because of his experience and capability, Prince Vikton (Alexis Denisof) views Weston as an invaluable resource when Stateside issues need to be handled swiftly and precisely.
Also, as we told you in late January when we heard from "Grimm" co-stars Silas Weir Mitchell and Bree Turner (full interview here), a new standalone web series is on its way that focuses on Juliette and Rosalee and their friendship; and we have more details on that as follows:

Just because NBC is airing some sports thing for the next couple of weeks doesn’t mean they don’t love Grimm like we do. To help tide us over until its return on February 28, NBC will be posting a four-part digital series (web series, online series, fill in your favorite term for it) this Friday, February 14, to be streamed on NBC.com, Hulu and YouTube.
“We worked closely with the writers on these series and want to give our audience a chance to stay in touch with their favorite shows,” said Rob Hayes, Executive Vice President, Digital Media, NBC Entertainment. “These digital series provide a great way to give our loyal audience even more original programming.”
