He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "Much Ado About Nothing," in a National Theatre Company production at the Old Vic Theatre in London, England with Joan Plowright, Robert Stephens, Derek Jacobi, Ronald Pickup, Gerald James, John McEnery, Edward Petherbridge, and Frank Finlay in the cast. Franco Zeffirelli was director.
