Fritz Tillmann was born on December 13, 1910 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He is known for his work on Hokuspokus oder: Wie lasse ich meinen Mann verschwinden...? (1966), Mein Mann, das Wirtschaftswunder (1961) and The Plot to Assassinate Hitler (1955). He died on October 30, 1986 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.

Provided the German voice-overs for such leading actors as Trevor Howard, John Mills, Charles Laughton, Peter Ustinov, Orson Welles and Van Heflin.
Character actor of stage and screen. Made his theatrical debut in 1936. Career interrupted by wartime military service, 1941-43. Subsequently on stage in Berlin and in films, both in East and West Germany.
