Back in November, Quentin Tarantino revealed that he was planning on following 2012's Django Unchained with another Western, and now Deadline has revealed that the acclaimed filmmaker's new project is going by the title of The Hateful Eight, and that he plans to shoot the movie this summer.
According to the site, casting is yet to begin, although Tarantino has reportedly written a part for Christoph Waltz, who has picked up Best Supporting Actor Oscars for Tarantino's last two features Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained, while Django co-star Bruce Dern (Nebraska) has also been mentioned as a potential addition. Tarantino's former assistant Pilar Savone is set to serve as producer, with Django Unchained casting director Victoria Thomas also on board.

Quentin Tarantino's upcoming western movie has reportedly scored a title - "The Hateful Eight".
Tarantino is expected to begin casting the movie shortly, and already has a part lined up for actor Christoph Waltz. No official production schedule has been announced, but there's talk it will film this Summer.
Tarantino's last work, 2012's "Django Unchained," scored the filmmaker an Oscar for best original screenplay. That film's casting director Victoria Thomas and producer Pilar Savone are also working on this project.
