Shauna was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has produced at "Dr. Phil" for the past two seasons and also served as a Producer on the latest season of "The Bachelor," one of the longest running, top 10, reality shows.

Shauna recently moved back to Los Angeles after working as an Entertainment & Features Reporter for "Good Day Utah" at Fox 13 News. During her 3 years in Salt Lake City, the viewers voted Shauna "Best Features Reporter" from an annual poll taken by "City Weekly Magazine." She was also featured on the cover of "Salt Lake Magazine" for the Successful Singles issue in January 2006. As an entertainment Reporter at Fox 13 Shauna traveled to L.A. covering film junkets interviewing almost every celebrity in Hollywood, as well as, covering the "American Idol" finals for 3 seasons.

Before being lured by the folks at Fox 13 News in Utah, Shauna was garnering national attention working as a correspondent for "Extra," ESPN & "The Daily Buzz." Prior to her national work she began her local news career in Indianapolis with Tribune Broadcasting on Fox 59 a.m. News. Shauna worked as a Live Features and "Youth Matters" Reporter and also became the entertainment host for WB4's QUIK HITZ, covering up-to-the-minute entertainment news.

Prior to working in local news, Shauna freelanced as an entertainment producer/reporter in Hollywood, California. She worked as an associate producer for "Inside Edition" and served as a producer/reporter covering "behind-the-scenes," entertainment content for Disney's imoviestudios.com and Loadtv.com.

Outside of her broadcast work, Shauna is an endurance athlete. She ran and completed the Honolulu Aids Marathon where she raised $3500 for AIDS and also completed the Los Angeles Marathon.

Shauna attended the University of Missouri where she earned a BA in Broadcast Communications, as well as, completing a Spanish Minor at the University of Chaminade, in Madrid, Spain.
