The Mexican-born popstar gave birth to son Matthew Alejandro last weekend, according to a post on her official Twitter account. Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - Thalia has welcomed a baby boy with her music exec husband Tommy Mottola. It's their second child together.
Thalia gave birth to son Matthew Alejandro Mottola on Saturday at 11:48 a.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 14 oz.
Thalia made the announcement via Twitter. "Thalía, Tommy, and Sabrina joyfully announce the birth of Matthew Alejandro Mottola," she wrote. Sabrina is the couple's first child, who is now 3.
Thalia, 39, thanked fans for their support as she spent her first night with the new baby.

The Conexión Thalía host and husband Tommy Mottola welcomed their second child together — son Matthew Alejandro — Saturday, June 25 at 11:48 a.m., the songstress announced via Twitter. He weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz.
“Thalía, Tommy, and Sabrina [Sakaë, 3½,] joyfully announce the birth of Matthew Alejandro Mottola,” she writes.
It didn’t take long for the new baby boy to settle in, as only hours later Thalía, 39, added, “Good night! Matteo Alejandro and Mama are going to sleep! Thank you for your love and light!”

There’s another baby on the way for Thalía and Tommy Mottola!
The couple will welcome their second child together later this year, their rep confirms to People.
They are already parents to daughter Sabrina Sakaë, 3, as well as Michael and Sarah, Mottola’s adult children from a previous relationship.
Thalía, 39, hosts Conexión Thalía and her latest song, “Primera Fila,” remains a hit on the Latin charts. Former CEO of Sony Music Entertainment Mottola, 61, currently acts as a consultant and advisor to private equity.
