Lily Montgomery can’t come home just yet. Why? Her alter ego, actress Leven Rambin, has her plate full thanks to the much anticipate novel adaptation, The Hunger Games. Lily, is of course Rambin’s character on All My Children. Lot’s of famous faces have returned to the daytime soap set, including Josh Duhamel (as Leo), Thorsten Kaye (Zach), Esta TerBlanche (Gillian) and Cady McClain (Dixie), says TV Line. Will Rambin miss out altogether on her reunion?

“Unfortunately, there was a scheduling conflict with The Hunger Games, which is filming in North Carolina,” Rambin told Soap Opera Digest. “Sad, sad, sad! But I’m pleased that I was able to take part in the 40th anniversary show last year.” See? There’s a silver lining, don’t you think?

I, for one, am excited to see Rambin in her action-fueled Hunger Games role. She will portray Glimmer, a tribute »

All My Children has in recent weeks welcomed back Josh Duhamel (as Leo), Thorsten Kaye (Zach), Esta TerBlanche (Gillian) and Cady McClain (Dixie) — and more alumni encores are on the way. But sadly, Leven Rambin’s participation in the first Hunger Games film has precluded Lily Montgomery’s anticipated homecoming.

“Unfortunately, there was a scheduling conflict with The Hunger Games, which is filming in North Carolina,” the actress told Soap Opera Digest of her scrapped return to Pine Valley. “Sad, sad, sad! But I’m pleased that I was able to take part in the 40th anniversary show last year. »

Josh Duhamel — in all of his Transformers-physiqued glory — returns to ABC’s All My Children this Thursday, nearly a decade after his Leo DuPres suffered a serious case of Presumed-Deadness. And while we’re happy to see that one half of our favorite Pine Valley couple is alive and kicking, it’s really the other party we’re more interested in. After all, what does Leo’s encore mean for soulmate Greenlee, who’s now happily married?

1 August 2011 3:24 PM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Thank heavens! The ill-fated Princess Gillian Maria Eugenia Andrassy Martin Lavery is returning to Pine Valley.

Not unlike a vast majority of All My Children‘s deceased denizens, Esta TerBlanche will reprise her royal role before the iconic sudser’s broadcast finale on Friday, Sept. 23. There is no word yet on the manner in which the actress will reappear (Angel? Hallucination? Living and breathing?), but ABC Soaps in Depth which broke the news, reports she’ll show up in a handful episodes this summer.

For those All My Children fans who believe Ryan Lavery is Greenlee Smythe‘s soulmate, I’ve got two(ish) words for you: Leo du Pres. And praise the ever-decreasing soap gods, because Josh Duhamel will reprise his Emmy-winning role on the soon-to-be-gone ABC sudser this summer.

The Las Vegas alum and Transformers franchise star is set to return to Pine Valley as the loveable con-man for an episode (or maybe two, says EW.com, who first reported the story) in August, before AMC‘s very final bow this September.
