- Anne Tenney was born in Sydney, Australia and has long been a staple in the Australian film, television and theatre industries. After graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art she began her acting career with guest roles across several Australian drama series, before landing one of her most iconic roles as Molly in 'A Country Practice' in 1984. Since then, Anne has played some of Australia's favourite mums, including Sal Kerrigan in 'The Castle' (1997), and was awarded the Most Popular Actress at the 1985 and 1986 Logie Awards.
