- Camera and Electrical Department
John Todd Taylor was born March 11, 1970 in Magrath, Alberta, Canada. He was born the second child to John and Carol Ann Adams Taylor. He married
Lori Holliman in 1991. They had two beautiful children, Keifer and
Dacia Taylor. They were later divorced.
Todd met and later married Mimi Davis, in 2001. They have been blessed with two beautiful sons, Race and Jack.
Todd began working in the film industry in 1989. His pride, dedication, and love he had for his career as a grip, was well respected by all cast and crew members that he worked with. Because of his experience, his professionalism and keen eye for detail, he was always in demand, and worked on hundreds of productions. It didn't matter to him if he was working on a low budget student film, a two-day commercial shoot, or a major motion picture, Todd always knew what was needed and was prepared for any situation. His career also gave him the opportunity to enjoy one of his other passions, traveling. Todd especially loved the beach on the Oregon coast and often vacationed there with his wife Mimi and his children.
He passed away August 23, 2006, in Salt Lake City, surrounded by his family. Survivors include his wife, Mimi, and their children Race, 4, and Jack, 2; and his son Keifer Taylor, 14, and Dacia Taylor, 11, of Santaquin, Utah; his parents, John and Carol Taylor of Orem, Utah; his sister Tracy Taylor Herzberg of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and his sister Tasha Ann Taylor Sisneros (Jason) of St. George, Utah and his mother-in-law Duke Davis of Salt Lake City, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
