Rich Talarico products
Rich took his first improv class from Stephen Colbert at Chicago's Second City Theater in the late 1900s. Rich went on to tour with SC's National Touring Company and also co-created five original revues for SC's resident companies including The Psychopath Not Taken and the 40th anniversary revue: Second City 4.0.
While in Chicago, Rich was heavily involved at Improv Olympic Chicago under the direction of Charna Halpern and improv guru Del Close. Rich was on the house team Mr. Blond understudied Dynamite Fun Nes with The Family and played with the long running Armando Diaz Experience, Theatrical Movement And Hootenanny. Rich also co-created the long form shows Strap-Heads, Trio, Close Quarters and Dasariski. Also at Improv Olympic, Rich co-created and starred in several scripted shows including the musical hits Hamlet The Musical and The Roof Is On Fiddler.
As an actor, Rich has appeared in many TV commercials, most notably A&W Rootbeer's Mr. Dumass. Rich also appeared in small roles on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Early Edition, What About Joan? and the feature film High Fidelity.
As a TV writer/producer Rich has worked for Fox's Mad TV, NBC's Saturday Night Live & The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Rich has also written/produced Frank TV for TBS, The Sketch Pad for HBO and The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show for Comedy Central.
He is one third of the improv troupe Dasariski.
