CSI Says Goodbye With a Totally Insane But Perfectly Fitting Series Finale & We Are Weirdly Emotional Over It

27 September 2015 8:36 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Full disclosure: I haven't watched CSI in years, but that didn't mean tonight wasn't a total emotional roller coaster for me.  I watched every single episode for the first nine seasons at least, and even stuck around for a couple more after Grissom left (and broke my heart in the process).  Even when I stopped watching, the show never really left my brain. I can't hear The Who's Who Are You without singing along for 30 seconds, and that time Nick Stokes (George Eads) was buried alive still haunts me to this day. I know weird things about bugs thanks to this show, and we will never forget the way cute lab tech Greg Sanders (Eric Szmanda) awakened some previously »

‘CSI’ Farewell Panel Talks How DNA, Hair Fibers & Plushies Changed TV & Society

Actors, writers, producers and creators of CBS hit show “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” gathered Wednesday night for a panel to mark its series finale at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. The Q&A concluded the 2015 PaleyFest Fall TV Previews.

Devoted fan and Entertainment Weekly writer Lynette Rice moderated the event and began with a question directed to creator Anthony E. Zuiker. Rice asked how he thought to redefine the television crime genre, singing the iconic theme song, “Who were you, who who who who?”

“I was watching a show called ‘The New Detectives’ on the Discovery Channel and saw a forensic docu-drama… about a cheerleader who was killed and they pulled a long blonde hair out of the headrest,” Zuiker started.

After a voice-over explained the cause of death from studying the strand, Zuiker said, “That’s when I learned that the body really is the perfect »

Mad Max: The Wastelands

Though there's demand for it, talk of a sequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road" remains premature at this point it would seem. Though having already scored a rumored title - "Mad Max: The Wasteland" - "Fury Road" star Charlize Theron did not seem to know anything about another 'Max' film when asked about it this week.

Speaking with USA Today, Theron says: "What's Wasteland? This is all news to me. I have not heard anything like that."
