'Star Wars Rebels' Trailer Unveils Darth Vader Footage

Following the Darth Vader photo from Star Wars Rebels that debuted last week, a new trailer has been released for the special airing of Spark of Rebellion on ABC that gives fans a better look at the iconic villain.

Set between the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, the Star Wars Rebels story unfolds during a dark time when the evil Galactic Empire is tightening its grip of power on the galaxy. Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet and are ruining the lives of its people. The motley but clever crew of the starship Ghost - cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the "muscle" Zeb, warrior firebrand Sabine, and grumpy old astromech droid Chopper - will face threatening new villains, embark on thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion. »

Darth Vader Revealed in 'Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion'

David Prowse, the actor who physically portrayed Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, revealed our first look at this iconic villain as he will appear in Star Wars Rebels.

We reported last week that a new Darth Vader scene is being added to the Star Wars Rebels TV movie Spark of Rebellion, which will be shown for the first time during a special airing of the one-hour special Sunday, October 26 at 7 Pm Et on ABC. James Earl Jones is once again providing the voice for the villainous Darth Vader, who will appear at the end of the episode in a scene with the show's primary villain, The Inquisitor, voiced by Jason Isaacs.

Earlier this month, fans got their first look at Star Wars Rebels with the one-hour special Spark of Rebellion, before the series debuted last night on Disney Xd. The television movie garnered rave reviews at last month's San Diego Comic-Con fan event for its story (set between the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope) and its look -- akin to the classic Star Wars trilogy, with series designs iluenced by the work of original Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie.
