- Zelda R. Suplee was born on September 8, 1908 in New York City, New York, USA. She was an actress and producer, known for The Parisienne and the Prudes (1964), Diary of a Nudist (1961) and The Moving Finger (1963). She died on January 17, 1989 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- In 1963, she appeared nude in an issue of Playboy.
- Zelda had a keen interest in naturism, LGBT rights and psychic phenomena.
- She ran the Erickson Educational Foundation, as founded by Reed Erickson, and managed the day-to-day operations alongside the LGBT activist Phyllis Saperstein (who she originally met at a naturist camp).
- Zelda was once in charge of numerous naturist camps, usually with her then husband, Reed Suplee.
