13 September 2011 11:42 AM, PDT | National Ledger | See recent National Ledger news »

Prince Harry has broken the world record for closing the largest foreign currency trade. The royal completed a deal between Barclays London and a European counterpart worth £15.5 billion over the telephone from London’s Canary Wharf the Bgc Partners Charity Day, which remembered 658 financial workers killed in 9/11. Broker Robert Sully told the Metro that Harry did a ‘brilliant’ job. “We told Harry to say, ‘28-year choice’, which means you can buy or sell.” Appearing on behalf of his charity Sentebale, which helps children in the African nation Lesotho, Harry smashed the previous world record which was help by his big brother Prince William who traded €17 billion (£15 billion), during a charity day organized by City firm Icap. © Splash News   »
