For the third week of August, there are a handful of great horror and sci-fi titles being released this week on DVD and Blu-ray including Jim Jarmusch’s stunning vampire love story Only Lovers Left Alive, Ti West’s The Sacrament, Scream Factory’s high definition release of Leviathan and much more.

The tale of two fragile and sensitive vampires, Adam (Tom Hiddleston) and Eve (Tilda Swinton), who have been lovers for centuries. Both are cultured intellectuals with an all-embracing passion for music, literature and science, who have evolved to a level where they no longer kill for sustenance, but still retain their innate wildness. Their love story has endured several centuries but their debauched idyll is threatened by the uninvited arrival of Eve’s carefree little sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska) who hasn’t yet learned to tame her wilder instincts. »

Leviathan Blu-ray Release Details

There’s still so much we don’t about our oceans, especially when it comes to what lies on their floors. In 1989′s Leviathan, a deep-sea mining crew is reminded of the saltwater’s deadly secrets when they find something horrifying living amongst a ship’s ruins at the sea bottom. This Peter Weller-starring film is shooting to the surface late this August as part of Scream Factory’s Summer of Fear, with a couple of bonus features in tow.

Set for an August 19th release on Blu-ray, you can pre-order the film now at Scream Factory and Amazon for around $25.00. This 1080p video resolution of Leviathan comes with new interviews and the theatrical trailer.

A few months back we learned that Scream Factory had added the 1989 underwater monster flick Leviathan to their "Summer of Fear" schedule, and today full details about the release have come up to the surface. Read on for everything you need to know about this must-own Blu-ray!

There are currently four Indiana Jones movies, and some might say that's one too many. But what about the Indy movies that never were?

For a new Indiana Jones movie to go forward, it requires a degree of agreement amongst three people who don't seem to have a habit of agreeing very much. Basically, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford and George Lucas all have to say yes, else the project stalls, and a different approach is taken.

As a consequence of this, there's a trail of unmade Indiana Jones films that failed to get the necessary unanimous agreement. The ingredients of some of them would find their way into others, and some ideas would never be returned to. Here then is a whistle-stop tour of the Indiana Jones movies that never were...
