Tracy Morgan's efforts to make amends for his anti-gay comments earlier this month have drawn praise from the Screen Actors Guild. Jason Stuart, co-chair of SAG's Lgbt Actors Committee, issued a written statement today commending Morgan for his apology and for denouncing discrimination. "As a fellow comedian and actor, I applaud Tracy Morgan for his efforts in speaking out against anti-gay rhetoric, which unfortunately is still regularly expressed in some standup comedy acts," Stuart said. "The Screen Actors Guild National Lgbt Actors Committee appreciates Tracy's efforts to both learn from this experience and use this as a teachable moment. We fully support Tracy's message that discrimination has no place in today's society regardless of where it is practiced." The second leg of the 2011 GLAAD Media Awards was held last night in Los Angeles (the first part was last month in New York, and the conclusion will be next month in San Francisco.).
The big news was that Glee and Modern Family tied for the Outstanding Comedy Series Award. Below you can see Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen and Ariel Winter accept the award from presenter Joel McHale. Jesse is funny, poignant, a bit manic, and totally adorable.
Below you can see Glee stars Mike O'Malley and Chris Colfer accept their award. Mike rocks that train conductor cap, while Chris is looking more and more like Roger Federer.
Surprise guest Dolly Parton presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to out NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt. Dolly was her usual faboo, irrepressible self, and Robert speaks eloquently about his history in media, including dealing with that infamous Melrose Place gay non-kiss. »

This month’s guest Alexandra Paul, best known for playing "Stephanie Holden" on Baywatch. This beautiful actress has had many lives in show biz and is still going strong. A bonafide movie star, she has starred in such hits as Dragnet opposite Tom Hanks, Eight Million Ways To Die opposite Jeff Bridges and the horror film classic Christine.

Hilary Duff's eldest sister Haylie has been hitting the genre creds hard of late. With not only 'Backwoods', 'Fear Island' and of course the upcoming Michael Rooker helmed horror 'Pennhurst' (currently in post) already under her belt she's now signed up for 'Home Invasion'. The simple titled flick, helmed and penned by Doug Campbell, will star Haylie Duff (below) alongside 'The Hitcher's C. Thomas Howell and Jason Stuart. It's certainly going to be one hell of a horror year for sharks, aliens and home invasion flicks.
