Edson Stroll was born on January 6, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, USA as Edson Roy Stroll. He was an actor, known for McHale's Navy (1962), Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961) and The Three Stooges in Orbit (1962). He died on July 18, 2011 in Marina del Rey, California, USA.

Quite handsome actor/singer who was a bodybuilder before switching to acting.
His favorite hobbies were opera and being on the ocean. He was a member of the Marina Venice Yacht Club and the Classic Yacht Association.
Trained for acting and singing at the American Theatre Wing in New York. Recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for voice performance.
Prior to his acting career, he had served in the U.S. Navy. In the 1960's, he was licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard to captain commercial vessels. From 1969, he also qualified as a marine surveyor, often appearing as witness in marine court cases. He further held a Certified Real Estate Appraiser License and was a member of the American Arbitration Association Commercial Panel.
