The Dog Lover” follows Sara Gold (Allison Paige), a rising star at the United Animal Protection Agency (Uapa), a major animal rights organization that seeks to stop puppy mills and conducts animal rescues. When Sara is tasked to go undercover as a college intern at a suspected puppy mill run by the conservative, enigmatic Daniel Holloway (James Remar), she jumps at the chance to shine.

Though initially gruff and reluctant to get to know Sara, Daniel slowly warms up to her and she soon starts to fall for his son William (Jayson Blair). More importantly, she doesn’t see any signs of animal abuse. But when the Uapa and local law enforcement raid the farm and accuse Daniel of animal abuse, Sara is torn between doing what’s right and doing her job, between the family she’s grown to love and the organization she swore to protect.

'Jimmy Kimmel Live' staged a long-awaited 'ER' reunion of one (plus Dr. House)

3 February 2016 8:32 AM, PST | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Jimmy Kimmel sees your Friends reunion and raises you a surprise ER reunion.  There's just one problem: the only ER cast member who showed up was George Clooney (Julianna Margulies was busy filming The Good WifeNoah Wyle had Taco Tuesday night with family, Eriq La Salle had jury duty, Anthony Edwards was at SoulCycle, and Sherry Stringfield couldn't get an Uber). But Clooney wasn't alone on stage, for Kimmel played his patient and Hugh Laurie limped in to assist as Dr. House (albeit missing his trademark stubble). I have a feeling Kimmel added a little surprise to the sketch, based on Clooney and Laurie's reaction to whatever was under the sheet and Laurie's inability to keep it together for most of the rest of it.  »

Per the ABC late-night host, Julianna Margulies was filming “The Good Wife,” Noah Wyle was enjoying his family’s Taco Tuesday, Eriq La Salle had jury duty, Sherry Stringfield couldn’t get an Uber, and Anthony Edwards is at SoulCycle. Kimmel did lure Hugh Laurie of Fox’s “House” to help, »

Jimmy Kimmel orchestrated an ER reunion together with guest George Clooney. How did that go? “Julianna Margulies?”asked Clooney, in his doctor coat, addressing mysteriously ill patient Kimmel. “She’s filming The Good Wife so she couldn’t make it,” Kimmel explained. “Noah Wyle?” Clooney asked. “He wanted to be here, but he’s got a thing with his family: Taco Tuesday,” Kimmel confessed.
