Irma Stormquist

She was a 1913 graduate of the University of Chicago. She married W. G. Stromquist, an engineer, and moved with him to Chicago, Memphis, Birmingham, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. She wrote newsletters and technical materials as well as romantic short stories. She also taught writing classes. Her short story "The Woman I Love" won True Story Magazine's story contest in 1929 and was the basis for the 1929 move by the same title.
