Tisha Sterling was born on December 10, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, USA as Patricia Ann Sterling. She is an actress, known for Coogan's Bluff (1968), The Whales of August (1987) and Village of the Giants (1965). She was previously married to Lal Baum.

Daughter of actors Ann Sothern and Robert Sterling
In the film The Whales of August (1987), Tisha played the same character as her mother, Ann Sothern, in flashbacks as a younger woman--named Tisha.
Debuted on the cover of Seventeen magazine with Troy Donahue in June 1962, then soloed for the May 1963 issue.
At 19, she and Danny Lockin, who later played Barnaby in the film version of Hello, Dolly! (1969), screen-tested for the part of Liesl and Rolf in the movie blockbuster The Sound of Music (1965), eventually losing out to Charmian Carr and Daniel Truhitte.
Her aunt was singer/songwriter Bonnie Lake, who wrote such standards as "Sandman," "I've Got Your Number," and "Gracias.".
Was to co-star with Margaret Leighton in the Broadway play "The Chinese Prime Minister" in 1964, but was fired during the tryouts for being too young to play a sexy nymphet.
Actor Richard Egan was her godfather.
Later became a florist and designer in the Sun Valley, Idaho, area, and today only infrequently appears in films. Has one daughter, Heidi Bates Hogan.
Stepdaughter of Anne Jeffreys.
Gave birth to her only child at age 21, a daughter Heidi Kristen Baum on March 3, 1966. Child's father is her husband, Lal Baum.
