His character Roger from Pulp Fiction (1994) is referred to as "Flock of Seagulls" because of his angular haircut that was the trademark of the 1980s New Wave Synth Pop band, A Flock of Seagulls, best known (after their haircuts) for their hit "I Ran (So Far Away)".

Nephew of Jacqueline Kennedy. Jacqueline was the stepsister of Burr's mother, Nina Auchincloss Steers.
