Sheila Steafel

She trained at the Webber Douglas School and won the Margaret Rutherford Award for Comedy.
Died just six weeks after her 'Ghosts of Motley Hall' co-star, Freddie Jones.
Born in South Africa, Steafel grew up in Lancashire. She sang at the local synagogue, where her parents directed the choir.
The film Monsieur Lecoq (1967) was unfinished and abandoned.
