A certificate of authenticity accompanies the final framed artwork. “Greece” was taken in 1967 when the Beatles travelled to Greece and almost bought a Greek Island. The framed print is number 2 of 25.

Queen Elizabeth’s 2018 New Year honors list was revealed on Friday and two musical greats were awarded knighthoods as recognition for their services to music and charity.

Ringo Starr, 77, became the second Beatles band member to receive the honor, 21 years after Paul McCartney was knighted.

“It’s great!” the drummer, whose real name is Richard Starkey, said in a statement of becoming a Sir. “It’s an honor and a pleasure to be considered and acknowledged for my music and my charity work, both of which I love. Peace and love.

amfAR’s annual Cinema Against AIDS gala has been an important and successful fund-raising event for the Foundation since 1993, generating more than $22 million for essential AIDS research. Past events have been hosted by Dame Elizabeth Taylor, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, and Sir Elton John.

The gala has seen impromptu performances by stars such as Sir Elton John, Robin Williams, Natalie Cole, Liza Minnelli, Sheryl Crow, Ringo Starr, Lionel Richie, Macy Gray, Shirley Bassey, and Milla Jovovich.
