A UK undertaker offered to pay the cost of repatriating his body to the UK and of the funeral, after it was reported that he might otherwise have had a pauper's burial in Spain where he died; the undertaker was quoted as saying "I just wanted him to have a proper funeral. I enjoyed watching him on TV. Anybody who can make an undertaker laugh must be a bloody good comedian.".
