A Shark Tank rerun opened ABC’s night this Tuesday with 4.5 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating (per finals), improving on the 3.1 mil/0.9 that last week’s Selfie/Modern Family repeat combo averaged.
Leading out of that, Agents of Shield did 4.6 mil and a 1.6, ticking up a tenth from last week’s series low. Forever (4.4 mil/1.0) was flat.

A few months back, I chatted with a friend’s mom about Parenthood — well, more accurately, she asked what my favorite TV show currently was, and I went on a several-minute-long sales pitch for the NBC drama, because nothing is more enticing than the words, “You’ll cry at least once in every episode!”, right?
I recall this story because Thursday’s episode of Parenthood did the exact thing my friend’s mom said it did: It portrayed real life a little too well. In this week’s installment — the last before the Nov. 20 fall finale, which looks like a »

Since its premiere at Sundance, Richard Linklater’s Boyhood has been garnering Oscar buzz and rave reviews. The film could score nominations for best picture, director, actor and more, but after submitting three songs to the Academy for consideration in the best original song category, the film could add another nomination. Two of the songs were written by Ethan Hawke, who could garner a best supporting actor nomination for his portrayal of the father. If Hawke receives a best original song nomination for one of his songs, he will join a short list of actors who have scored nominations for songs since 1994.
Both Annette O’Toole and her husband Michael McKean were nominated in 2004, for their song “A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow,” which appeared in 2003’s A Mighty Wind. Well known for her role on Smallville as Martha Kent, O’Toole didn »

In 1978, there were two things on the minds of boys ages 5 to 16. Ok, maybe three. They were Kiss, Star Wars, and girls. You pick the order they were in for you personally. I was 6, so girls really hadn't figured into the equation yet.
Girls were on boys' minds for the obvious reasons. Star Wars was popular because it had just been released the year before and blew everyone away with its groundbreaking, never-before-seen special effects and imagery. After only being around since 1973, Kiss was the hottest band in the world because of their shockingly explosive on-stage spectacle and look. They had already released several best-selling studio, live, and solo albums. They had t-shirts, stickers, belt buckles, and everything else you can think of with their logo and likenesses plastered on them. The band even had a comic book that featured the members as superheroes that was published through Marvel Comics. »

Demons are plaguing Supernatural‘s Season 10 poster — but are they external or internal?
With Dean now a demonic creature — and not a very nice one, to boot — and Sam committing some questionable acts in order to find his Mia brother, it’s fitting that the tagline for the upcoming run is “Wrestle your demons.”

Once Holly and April‘s curse was broken and time was restored, the tenth-year seniors of the glee club finally made the move to New York City, where Kurt‘s band was thriving and Rachel‘s Funny Girl was underway and Starchild was a bit of a sage and Santana and Brittany were welcome after their honeymoon. “Demi Lovato?” a reporter asked Ryan Murphy. “Demi Lovawho?” he replied.
Many months after breaking free from the endless winter of Lima, Ohio, Artie and Sam and Blaine have arrived in New York City in the throes of a polar vortex. (Seriously, I feel so terrible for all these actors every time they do a number »

Previously on Glee, the director of the Broadway revival of Funny Girl fainted almost dead away when he found out that McKinley High School produced both Rachel Berry and Santana Lopez, and so he hired the latter to be the former’s understudy, a decision that resulted in a fisticuffs for the ages. Kurt and Starchild drank awesome Jell-o shooters and listened to awesome music and sat around soaking up each other’s awesomeness. And Artie and Tina‘s battle for valedictorian resulted in Blaine Warbler being named valedictorian.

Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) is embracing her inner rockstar. Yes, our girl is getting her rock 'n' roll on in tonight's episode of Glee, which deaths with the aftermath of Rachel moving out of the loft she shared with Santana (Naya Rivera) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). The unfortunate bystander who gets dragged into the Fox hit's feuding trio's drama? Starchild (Adam Lambert), who seems to be on Team Rachel after she tells him Santana and Kurt kicked her out. (Selective memory much?!) But it's hard to get mad at Starchild joining the big roommate war of 2014 when we're gifted with an amazing duet between Lambert and Michele. We've got an exclusive sneak peek to share from »

Things got heated last week on Glee. There was Rachel vs. Santana, Tina vs. Artie and (at least in Kurt's head) Kurt vs. Starchild. Oh, and of course, as always, there's Sue against everyone else. And while some of those feuds were resolved, one in particular is sticking around.
In this Tuesday's episode, we'll see the aftermath of Rachel moving out when Starchild (Adam Lambert) unintentionally gets sucked into the drama. (The preview for this episode shows Rachel telling him that Santana and Kurt kicked her out -- that'll be interesting to see her play up that lie.) It won't be quite as tension-filled at McKinley, where Tina, Blaine and Sam put on a senior "lock-in" -- unfortunately for them, Becky joins in too.
Alright, we'll admit it. Our attempts to predict the outcomes of this week's Voice battles by testing the duos on their knowledge of their mentors hasn't really worked so far - Team Tom's Mairead and Celestine tied, as did Team Will's Callum and Tom. Well, we will not be deterred, so this time it's the turn of Team Kylie - Nomakhosi Nkosi and Jai McConnell - to show off their knowledge of Ms Minogue. Could this predict the winner of tonight's face-off? Read on to find out who won the all-important Digital Spy clash, and also to see what they had to say about their singing head-to-head...

Glee‘s mid-season opener is friendly enough, with lots of drama and some truly impressive musical numbers, but despite the music, fans are once again finding these beloved characters falling back on bad habits and hysterics. Though it finally started to feel like Rachel was actually finding herself in New York, after four tumultuous years at McKinley and the loss of her first love, Finn Hudson, she’s hit a new low. Watching her slap Santana across the face prompts flashbacks to the time Rachel sent Sunshine Corazon to a crack house so she wouldn’t be able to audition for Glee. While Santana probably should have tempered Rachel by letting her know she planned to audition, one can’t really blame her for wanting to avoid Rachel’s wrath twice over »

Adam did double duty in primetime this week, as he returned as Elliot on Glee. He and Kurt (Chris Colfer) rocked the house with “I Believe In A Thing Called Love,” and Adam, as usual, made sure not to vocally overshadow his duet partner.
They had some intriguing moments on the episode, as Kurt’s initial hostility led to mutual admiration. It culminated in a friendly peck on the cheek.
But could this selfie lead to complications later? The Twitterverse was abuzz with wild and baseless speculation …
When Blaine sees that selfie, his head will explode … and with the amount »
