The first wave of nominees for the 2016 Teen Choice Awards (aka that thing the Internet says I’m too old to vote for, even when I clear out my browser’s entire cache) were announced Tuesday, and the list couldn’t be any less surprising.

Pretty Little Liars is leading the pack with six nominations, one for the series itself (Choice TV Show, Drama!) and additional noms for Ian Harding, Keegan Allen, Tyler Blackburn, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario.

The Vampire Diaries season seven finale is the least eventful in the show's history...

This review contains spoilers.

7.22 Gods And Monsters

So we've finally reached the end of our first Elena-free year of The Vampire Diaries, and it's been a perplexing year for the show. Not a series that could ever be described as consistent, season seven has been more up and down than most (which beats completely down), and this finale really just sums up that journey.

Gods And Monsters is such an odd episode for season seven to end on, because it's actually a very average episode of the show. I'd go as far as to say that it's the least eventful finale of the entire series, and that's even stranger when you consider that the penultimate episode featured the kind of big, sweeping emotional moments that we've come to expect. Here, it's one big »

The Vampire Diaries Boss Opens Up About Season 7 Finale's Heartbreaking Twist

13 May 2016 6:25 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

It wouldn't be a Vampire Diaries finale without some of your favorites out on the loose, possessed by an evil spirit (or, like in past years, the suppression of their own humanity). But after all poor Bonnie Bennet (Kat Graham) went through in these final few episodes of season seven, could the evil, unkillable spirit that has been alive for thousands of years maybe have targeted anyone besides Bonnie's Bff Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and her true love, Enzo (Michael Malarkey)?  Unfortunately, as we learned at the end of the episode, Damon and Enzo escaped from the vault where the evil resided, and where Damon had to go to kill the Everlasting, which linked Bonnie to the spell that gave her an unquenchable »

Yes, That Was Nina Dobrev In The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Finale

13 May 2016 5:53 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

We know what you're thinking after that Vampire Diaries season seven finale: Was that really…? Did she..?  The answer, friends, is yes. E! News has confirmed that Nina Dobrev did record new dialogue for a particularly emotional scene in the episode, which you could hear over a montage of a vision Damon (Ian Somerhalder) had of him together with Elena . After Damon managed to kill the Everlasting, a.k.a. the tie that bound Bonnie (Kat Graham) to an unquenchable thirst to murder every vampire in existence (so, all of her best friends in the world), he needed to get the heck out of the vault the Everlasting was locked inside. And he needed to do it as quickly as possible because, as we learned earlier in »

New Extended Promo & Stills For The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Finale: "Gods & Monsters"

6 May 2016 10:30 PM, PDT | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

Last night's Paul Wesley-directed episode re-introduced Bonnie as a vampire hunter hellbent on eradicating the entire planet of the blood suckers, which of course is very bad news for three of her closest (and marked) friends - Damon, Caroline, & Enzo. Next week's season finale sets all of our heroes on a collision course as they try to re-open The Armory before Bonnie can decapitate them. However, considering the evil entity lurking within the vault, re-opening the accursed building may unleash an evil worse than anything they've ever faced before and while it may set up the big bad for the upcoming eighth season, it's starting to looks like Damon might have to pay the ultimate price to save his loved ones. The Vampire Diaries season 7 episode 20: Kill 'Em All

The Vampire Diaries had had a ludicrously busy season seven, with characters dispatched almost as quickly as they're introduced...

This review contains spoilers.

After all these years, I really should have known better than to assume The Vampire Diaries mission to wipe out all of Rayna's escaped captees would take up the rest of the season. This show doesn't do that. It doesn't introduce the final conflict more than a couple of weeks before the end of the year's run, and even then said conflict will almost certainly be different than the one we were expecting.

So Rayna's dead and Bonnie's alive. But the catch is that Bonnie will now be hell-bent on killing every vampire she finds and tortured for all eternity by the huntress curse. She's basically a vampire slayer but without the fun parts, and this will surely mean that her relationships with Enzo, »

6 Days of the Year That Will Probably Be Movies Soon

27 April 2016 1:00 PM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

We've seen "Valentine's Day" and "New Year's Eve," and now we prepare to welcome Garry Marshall's latest rom-com "Mother's Day," which hits theaters April 29th.

We eat these delightful star-studded ensemble films up like buttered popcorn, and chances are we probably haven't seen the last of these holiday-themed love stories on the big screen. What other days-of-the-year movies can we expect in the future? Here are our pitches for 6 "holiday" flicks that we could see being produced. And we'd totally watch them, by the way.

Your move, Hollywood. We'll be waiting for your call.

1. "April Fool's Day"

Synopsis: Ashton Kutcher acts as the chorus of this fable, in the super-meta role of the host of a formerly popular celebrity pranking show called "Burned" (a la "Punk'd.") In order to revive the near-forgotten series, a live April Fool's extravaganza is planned and will epically "burn" the world's biggest and most scrutinized (supposed diva) pop star, »

The Vampire Diaries season 7 episode 19 review: Somebody That I Used To Know

The latest episode of The Vampire Diaries is a lot of fun, leading the way towards a blockbuster season seven finale...

This review contains spoilers.

7.19 Somebody That I Used To Know

I think we'd all agree that so far in season seven, the hardest thing to swallow has been the relationships. A huntress we've never heard of before? A secret Initiative-like evil corporation? That's all par for the course, but seeing Caroline and Bonnie hook up with randos has been a lot more difficult to get over.

Of course, Enzo and Alaric aren't exactly new characters, but they are characters who'd had little to no interaction with our main ladies before this. Alaric had once been Caroline's teacher, for a start, and I'd have been more on board with Bonnie and Matt than Bonnie and Enzo.

Imagine my surprise, then, that this episode kind of left me a semi-fan of their relationship. »
